After you fill out the Transcript Order Form, the reporter will contact you about financial arrangements. All deadlines begin after arrangements have been made.
You will need to fill out the Transcript Order Form and also order the transcript through the CJA eVoucher system. All deadlines begin when the reporter is notified of judicial approval of the voucher.

Attorneys are required to place transcript orders via the COA’s “Virtual Transcript” process in ECF. Also, you will need to fill out the MIED Transcript Order Form.
Financial arrangements with the court reporter should be made before the transcript is ordered. Unless the transcript is paid for under the CJA or through the Federal Community Defender’s Office, the “Private Funds” option should be selected. All deadlines begin as noted above for cases in our court.
Pro se litigants must complete the Transcript Order for Pro Se Parties available on the Sixth Circuit’s website and mail the form to the clerk's office and the court reporter along with payment for the transcript.
